Blog Post #17: Saying Why it Matters

The cost of tuition matters because it affects students for years to come. The financial burden it can take on anyone who pays for their education is something that most would say is unethical. The cost of tuition may seem trivial to some, as there are many people who don’t see as big of an issue with the cost of tuition because they make enough money in their household to afford it without batting an eye; it is in fact crucial in today’s concern over money. I’m not arguing that tuition should be free, I’m arguing that tuition should be balanced between in-state and out-of-state students, as there would be a better likelihood of success for those who would then be able to afford it.
